How Can I Improving My PE Grade?
We have had both students and parents ask us this question. The answers we give are usually very similar. Although individual cases will vary, the following list of suggestions will certainly help raise any child's PE grade. If you have further questions, please feel free to contact us.
Effort Grade
To improve on a 2 or 3 for your behavior grade, try working on the following:
1. Be a first time listener.
2. Always have your eyes on the teacher when they are talking.
3. When the teacher stops the class, place all equipment on the floor and do not touch it.
4. Listen to ALL the driections before moving.
5. Move away from other students that could be a distraction.
6. Choose partners/groups that you will work well with.
7. If you are unsure what to do, ask the teacher.
8. Stay on task following all directions while working.
9. Put forth your best effort.
10. Follow the example of students who are following the directions.

Skill Grade
To improve on you skill grade, try and work on the following: (Please note that students participate in a wide range of activities through out the year that require many different skill sets.)
1. Give your best effort.
2. Take your time to be sure you are correctly performing the skill.
3. Ask a friend to watch and give feedback.
4. Practice as much as possible (at home or at recess).
5. Know and understand the cognitive aspects of the skill or activity
